Mr. Gonzalez, of Wells Fargo Advisors, has been on the forefront of a PR campaign to try to convince the public that the NHS Board will be more transparent, accountable, and will recruit animal welfare and shelter professionals to the Board. Unfortunately, none of the promises he has made have been fulfilled. He joined the board in 2020, so was on the Board when the NHS was spiralling downwards.

Mrs. Eissmann is listed as the wife of DDS Greg Eissmann on the Nevada Humane Society website for its directors. So far, we know she wrote an email on May 10 (see Board Failures) attempting to respond to complaints about directors exceeding their term limits, self-dealing by directors of the Board, as well as the hiring of attorneys to advise the Board on employment law. All of her statements have been rebutted by the Watchgroup. We also know that she is responsible for the hiring of a "culture consultant" to give managers "tools to manage people," as she states in her interview with Joe Hart of News 4. Mrs. Eissmann joined the board in 2020, when the NHS deteriorated sharply in performance and public accountability.

Nancy Wenzel is an attorney and the Secretary of NHS. She is a member brought on board by Mr. Gonzalez, and the second attorney. She joined the board in 2021, so she, too, saw how things deteriorated under Mr. Greg Hall.

Mr. Festa attended the May 15 meeting with the Washoe County Regional Animal Services Advisory Board to "introduce himself." He said he joined the Board earlier this year. He was one of the members of the Board that Mr. Gonzalez said he brought on. Little is known of his background, and what expertise he has brought to the Board.

Even less is known about Mr. Kirchman than about Mr. Margulies. He may be retired, and this MAY be his photo, but it is very blurry, whether by mistake or by design. He is also supposed to have been brought on the board by Mr. Gonzalez, so he joined the Board either in 2022 or 2023.
